Vee and me have booked the trips.
On Sunday night Vee and myself booked our trips which include glacier walk, Milford Sound, whale watching and also the return ferry from the north to south island. It's all coming together!

More Ardnamurchan
In order of appearance, Fascadale, the hills above Fascadale, a rainbow near Fascadale, the view from Fascadale and Gay Pete coming out not to far from Fascadale! We did go further afield than Fascadale but I can't spell all those other Scottish places that we visited!

Just to make sure it still works
It appears that my browser problems are now behind me. I can now go on my hols to Ardnamurchan in the morning in a much happier mood.

This morning firefox updated and I can now upload pictures and type to the blog. I am a happy Old Peter.

That close even Jean did not get lost
In previous years Jean had got lost coming back from the loo, (Colin got done) so we camped (Pete F is very camp) closer to the loo. That close we could almost smell it! Hmmm
The Proms at Hyde Park
Once again London called and we all went to the Proms in the Park. Although Colin looks like he has been done he has not it was simple that he did not approve of Jeans poor impression of Starsky (or as she will now be known Jeansky). The sign above every ones head was of no reference to Jeans impression or the show. Maybe Kylie was a bit toilet but at least she brought her bottom!

New work holiday planner!!!
Today the holiday planner arrived at work for next year, my eyes sparked as I explained to Justin, Adrian and Sally that they could put the dates on for our trip next February!! Yippee!

Tonight Nic and Sid phoned for a chat, in six months time we will be spending our last night in Hong Kong. The following day we will fly onto New Zealand. The pictures above is a random picture of Scotland I took in June. Lovely init!!!!

Heathrow and rental car booked
We have tonight booked our digs at Heathrow and booked our car for the two and a half weeks in New Zealand. Nothing left to book just the trips when we are there. Vee is absolutely apopleptic, only six months to go. This time in six months we will be in the air and will have been for the last 9 hours. Eck!!!!

It's all booked!
We have now booked all the hotel rooms and overnight digs. 5* in Hong Kong to start of with and 5* in Aukland at the end. OMG just 6 and a half months to go. Best go and pack!

Word from the airline company
Today we received an e-mail to tell us that we will be flying at 11:25hrs 16th Feb 2013 in a 747 jumbo jet in seats 34d-34e-34f-34g. These are the seats we will be in to Hong Kong and also the same number seats flying to New Zealand but the aircraft will be a a340-300.

Tonight Nic phoned to talk about all things possible, they are now talking about New Zealand. This does not please me as come the weekend I will have to spend most of the weekend planning our trip. Ah well I will get my reward in heaven!

Cure the common cold
Saturday evening I was feeling heavy with a cold (must thank the chaps at work on Monday). This is my cure. However on Sunday morning I awoke with not only a cold but a hangover aswell!!
